Melanie brings over 20 years of media, promotion, and brand management experience on the agency and client side, both regionally and nationally. Landing in Louisville after finishing her bachelor’s at WKU, she was quickly dubbed “The Pit Bull Buyer” for her relentless negotiation for the best media efficiencies and promotional ideas for her clients. Her experience spans categories including Grocery, Quick Service Restaurants, Banking, Automotive, Energy, Healthcare, Retail, Spirits, Trading Platforms and Appliances. After being recruited to the client side, she delivered media communication and brand marketing solutions on a national level with system marketing budgets up to $200M annually with companies including KFC and Papa John’s. Returning to her Louisville media roots, she is excited to reconnect with those that helped shape her career along the way and looks forward to helping guide Media Venue clients in achieving better-than-expected results for their hard-earned marketing investments.
